I have been asked how does "A Hand Up" get the funding for it's programs.
1. Our organization receives funding from the government in the form of a grant that aims to aid those in need and fits the criteria for the program.
2. We also hold several fundraisers each year to help supplement the costs.
3. Lastly, we receive donations from our sponsors and generous people like you!
Put that all together, with the generous help from all our volunteers, we manage to survive.

I think you have a great concept but I just hope that you really check out the people you help, because there is way too many people who take advantage of these type of programs and don't even feel guilty for lying and getting help that someone else might actually need. Good luck!
