I just thought I would tell you about my "husband" Mark because he is a wonderful person. Before we met he was taking care of his mother who was dying of breast cancer. He quit his job to become her caregiver. After her passing, he could not get his job back. So, he went to Baker to get a degree in Human Service where we met...yay!
I was very relationship shy so I would not marry him when he asked. I was way too scared, but he hung around regardless...helping me, being there for me, you know, all the good stuff. It took six years before we committed to each other. We are not legally married but we did have a church ceremony. I can't get married without losing medical insurance, that is why we did not legalize it....but I wish I could. He is constantly looking after me, helping me with school, and he is working hard to get a job. If anyone is an awesome worker, who deserves a job it is Mark.
I love him!
